Rejection letters have never been so fashionable. Amira Casar, Audrey Marnay and Melanie Laurent were among the stylish throngs at the Paris inauguration of artist Sophie Calle's "Take Care of Yourself" show, hosted by Chanel last week in the impressive reading room of Paris' Bibliothèque Nationale. The Venice Biennale hit, which next will travel to Montreal, centers on a break-up letter that Calle once received from a boyfriend via e-mail. "My worst memory of being dumped is when it happened on my birthday," mused Casar, who appears in one of the show's films reading Calle's letter. "I can remember sobbing in the rain and Isabelle Adjani coming to pick me up in a taxi — she has such a big heart," Casar said.
